Hi Coaches. Divisions 1 and 2 are both 1 week behind. Wednesday Night, there will be a hard push which means this. I will select winners, losers, and draws based on the communication feeds that I have seen in matchmaking. If you have not posted any solid communications prior to Sunday at 00:01 hours US Central Time (hard time commitment for a match) then don't be upset if I don't award your match up with a tie or a win. The push is Wednesday Night at Midnight Central Time.
I understand that RL can be an obstacle sometimes, families travel, there is life outside of Blood Bowl, but at the same time I am not will to stall the league into an untimely death. If you have a team in the basement it can suck. Just remember to have fun with the game. If it isn't fun it may be time for a new team to develop, a change in tactics, or Nuffle forbid a short break. If you need an example of how to have fun with a team in this game, look to what Orbis is doing. He is playing a Khemri squad as if they are Elves. Read some of his match reports. They are highly entertaining. Then take a look at his team's development. Those Petrified Wood Elves are becoming a scary looking team that I believe will become a real passing threat in another season.
Remember not to fire any perma-injured players. After the playoffs are finished we will have to fix the teams to meet the ratio or reduce them to 11 players for the start of season 3. Your perma-injured players are going to allow for the deeper development of your teams. For every perma-injured player you you will be able to maintain an extra 100 tv. So 3 qualified perma-injuries will grant the team 1300 tv for the start of the next season. If you don't have perma-injuries or not enough of them, then you must reduce your team to meet the ratio, or to 11 players. We will talk more about this individually during the post season. There may also be some rule addendums for you guys to take a look at. More on that later.
With Kord being busy in Natts and my eye situation, that leaves Werecaster running amok in Toborro Bay. We can't have him doing that all alone. Next thing you know there will be money missing from the counter and some crazy fairy will have him sniffing glue and telling him to build a model air plane. So if any of you guys would like to assist in the carrying out of duties within the league, let me know. The pay is horrible, but...well...no that's it. The pay is horrible. We could use another set of eyes to help out. Thanks in advance.
Finally, gratz to the 4 coaches in Division 3 that have made the post-season. Best of luck to them (I mean me) in the playoffs. Also I am looking forward to seeing how Division 2 untangles. Thanks fellas, have a great week.
