Communication is key for matchmaking. By posting with you opponent on the forum, we have a record of what was said and times indicated. This is important if there is a no show or if there maybe a need for rescheduling before match time. By doing this it prevents your opponent from sitting around and wasting time on a match that isn't going to happen. It also serves as proof that you were available and kept your appointed match time if your opponent is a no show.
Matches that are not played by the push date will be awarded accordingly, by the information made in matchmaking. If there is no communication here, a 0-0 tie, no mvp, and no gate will be awarded. If there was attempts to make a match but both coaches were unable to make an agreed upon time, then a 1-1 tie with mvp award, and gold for each team will be awarded. A no show will lose match 2-0 with 1 mvp's and half the gate (gold) being awarded to the coach that was there. There will also be a -1 fan factor given to team for not showing.
If the coach that misses the appointed time of the match tries to reschedule. Give them the benefit of the doubt and try to work it out. After all, BB is about sticking it to them on the pitch and not in the...well you get the idea.
Again the only way we will know how to award a match is by being able to examine the evidence at hand. Good communication is key and be reasonable.
Thanks for your time and I will see you guys on the pitch,
PLP
